Potato had his incisors pulled and is recovering very well.
he is eager to find a forever home with people who will adore him for teh rest of his life.
Potato's veterinary bills have been over $700.

UPDATE 6/18/09

We originally rescued this handsome Holland Lop boy back in 2007. He had been surrendered to the San Francisco animal shelter by people who neglected him and didn't treat his malocclusion. We took in Potato, raised funds to get his teeth trimmed and found him a good home with people who loved him.

Sadly, Potato was recently returned to us because his adopters could no longer afford to care for him. His return had also been hastened by a misdiagnosis of ringworm by the guardians' veterinarian. In fact, Potato had fur mites and had then developed a skin irritation from the medication prescribed for nonexistent ringworm.

Potato is now doing very well, though he still has a malocclusion that requires periodic tooth trims or a possible extraction of his incisors. Potato is very eager to find an experienced rabbit adopter (or fosterer)who understands and can afford the special care this little guy needs for his teeth. Plus, he seems to have a slightly compromised immune system that makes him prone to mites, which needs monitoring.

Can you provide Potato with the love, attention and medical monitoring that he needs? If so, you'd make this special, little guy very happy. He deserves a forever home and happily ever after story!
