Hi ! My name is Demeter, like the Greek Goddess. I am a beautiful maiden.

According to Wikipedia, in Greek mythology, Demeter presided over grains, the fertility of the earth, and the seasons. Though Demeter is often described simply as the goddess of the harvest, she also presided over the sanctity of marriage, the sacred law and the cycle of life and death. Very appropriate for a bunny who truly lived so close to death.

My early start in life was not so great and I saw way more heartache than any young rabbit should have to endure. But it's amazing what love and good care can do. I was rescued as part of a large group of rabbits living without proper food, water or care in a San Jose neighborhood. I'll spare you the terrible details, but not all my rabbits friends were as lucky as me.
