January 30, 2016 - Chrysanthe is being adopted today!! She's joining a wonderful family in Concord and they are calling her Pepper (quite fitting!)

August 31, 2014- Chrysanthe just had dental surgery and she's healing. She'll need some special care.

I'm calm, sweet, good with my litter box and I like people a lot. I was in a foster home with a 10 year old girl. I really enjoyed being with her and all her friends. They were unable to continue fostering me and I miss all the attention :-(

Please visit me soon!

NOTE FROM MARCY, SAVEABUNNY FOUNDER:

Chrysanthe needs surgery to explore what is causing her eye to bulge out. There is a major infection and possibly an abscess. She may not survive. We love her and will do everything we can to help her. We need your help with the surgery costs which could be close to $900. If you feel a connection with Chrysanthe and her life story, please sponsor her.

Thank you!

The name "Chrysanthe" comes from the Greek word for "golden flower."

I am putting out a special plea for a kind-hearted person to consider bringing this little girl into their heart and home. It's her time to shine!

We rescued Chrysanthe, formerly known as Lassa, from euthanasia at a shelter 2-3 years ago. In addition to running out of time, she was also a smart girl bunny who got a reputation for speaking up for herself. Since her initial rescue she has been in short-term foster homes hoping for a long-time adopter to fall in love with her.

As can be the case with bunnies who haven't had the opportunity to build complete trust and a deep connection with someone, they can withdraw. Imagine a sensitive person who has had their feelings hurt. You can apply this idea to a bunny who needs a patient person who will love her and give the safety to trust and blossom.

This pretty girl is ready for healing and love. She lights up when given extra attention, but since I run a large , busy rescue, I can't be her "one and only."
Are you the person who will show this special girl that love heals all broken hearts?
