UPDATE 2/2011

We are very saddened to report that our resident cranky, but cute bunny "Borat" was humanely euthanized because of a mass in his chest. We noticed Borat having difficulty breathing and x-rays and ultrasound confirmed a large chest mass. The veterinarian told us that few humane options existed and so we lovingly made the difficult choice to have Borat euthanized, rather than prolong his suffering. He was very uncomfortable and could not breath properly. It is a rare situation when we make the choice to have a bunny euthanized and we do everything possible to help a bunny live a good life. Goodbye, little cranky cutie!
