Hi! My name is pronounced BAY-erd and is of French origin for "auburn-haired". To be fancy, you might say that I am named for Seigneur de Bayard, "the irreproachable and fearless", who was a 16th-century French knight and national hero renowned for his valor and purity of heart. Or, you could just say that Marcy did a web search for names related to lions, since I am a lionhead bunny.That just sounds a bit bland since I am such regal looking, little guy.

In fact, I am both SUPER cute and very nice. Hard to believe that I was left in a box in the parking lot of a local shelter along with another bunny (we are not a bonded pair). I am quite a good looking guy and nice as well. As soon as I am neutered I am going to be one top of the list of highly adoptable bunnies. I'll do my best to be humble, but it's hard when you are as cool as me.
