I have been adopted and I have a nice bunny friend who was adopted from Oakland Animal Shelter last year!

I am a Silver Marten lop bunny, am back at the shelter, and sweeter than ever! I am a super affectionate rabbit and LOVE being petted on the head! When people approach my cage I am always standing up and doing funny things to get their attention so that they'll come and pet me! The rabbit volunteers all think I am a picky eater for a rabbit - I only like some greens, so you'll have to experiment with me to find my favorites. I like playing with people on the ground, and would like to spend time next to a nice someone while they read or watched TV. I don't like to be picked up and held, and will squirm and squiggle if you try, so I would be best in a home that understands rabbits, and probably with older children or adults. But I love to interact with people at ground level, and am looking for some new friends to hang out with me!

I am waiting for you at the Oakland Animal Shelter, so no need to email or anything if you want to meet me, just come on down and visit! You can find directions and hours on our website. The adoption fee for a rabbit at Oakland Animal Shelter is $35.

If you are interested in me as a friend for your single rabbit, I would be a great choice! Please bring your rabbit to the shelter any Saturday or Sunday between noon-4pm to have a "bunny dating" bonding session with me!
