I am a very sweet rabbit girl. I am perky and inquisitive, but I also love to snuggle down in your lap to be pet.

I am a beautiful white rabbit. I am a sparkling friendly girl - I'm always poking my nose out of the bars of my cage, looking for people to pet me. White rabbits with pink eyes are usually the last to be adopted. Don't be put off by my pink eyes - I am a loving bunny girl who is looking for someone who sees how special I really am. Also, I have great litterbox skills!

I went and spent some time at SaveABunny where they healed an abscess I had from where a rabbit bit me - now I am 100% healed and healthy and back at the Oakland Animal Shelter, waiting for you to come adopt me! Here's what my SaveABunny foster parents said about me:

"Opal used her litter box faithfully. Once she was used to the routine here, she caught on quick as to when she got breakfast (her pellets and a small sliver of banana), her dinner salad, and her nightly treat, a small piece of apple, or a berry, or a raisin. She was always polite in taking her treats from our hand. She never was aggressive, nor was she fearful. I know Opal is going to make someone a great pet. She even tolerates being held! She is very sweet, and not too demanding. She is definitely not a Diva Bunny . . . we will miss her sweet disposition . . . and wish her the best of luck as she goes to find her forever home!"

I am already spayed and microchipped, so I could go home with you the same day. You can find directions and hours on our website. The adoption fee for a rabbit at Oakland Animal Shelter is $35.
