Hello, I'm Bella. I'm a little spayed female Californian rabbit, with my signature "dark chocolate" nose. When I came into the San Francisco shelter, I was a little ragged and malnourished, and I sure was in need of a bath! Now I'm all cleaned up and pretty again, which is true to my name.

I'm quite petite and I had it pretty rough out there on my own roaming around the city. That was not a place for a little sweetheart like me! While I'm more protected now, still I can't stay here forever. I'm so gentle and nice, and all I want is to be loved and cared for. I'm looking for a secure, indoor home, where I can have some toys and fresh hay, water, and some greens to keep my teeth and fur healthy. I would especially love to be groomed on a regular basis. I'm waiting for my forever guardian to come and take me home!

If you'd like to meet Bella, please bring her ID number with you to San Francisco Animal Care and Control. Hours of operation are 12-6 pm. Open 12-7 pm on Wednesday. You will need landlord approval if you rent.
