WOW! So much has happened to me this week I feel incredibly blessed.
First, I got adopted to a GREAT family and then, they decided to get me a friend or two. I was very picky about who I wanted my friends to be until I met a new pair of bunnies that just arrived at SaveABunny
from Humane Society of Silicon Valley. These two boys, my new hus-buns,had been waiting to be adopted at the Humane Society of Silicon Valley for many months. They must have just been waiting to meet me and my new humans. It was truly love at first sight.

This is what I would wish for all bunnies:a loving, safe home, the right to choose a mate and to be loved for who we really are as sensitive, intelligent and opinionated little souls. As a BWB---also known as Big White Bunny with pink eyes, some people would have overlooked me in favor of bunnies they thought were cuter, such as those darn little lops who seem to steal all the attention from us other bunnies. I LOVE my new family for being so kind and loving to all living beings.

UPDATE 11/20/07
Boogie has been given a feminine new name to properly honor her beauty. Her new name is Aphrodite, after the Goddess of Beauty" and she is now in a SaveABunny foster home ready to meet you!
--------------------------------------------------------------

Boogie is a 3-year-old New Zealand white spayed female. Boogie is hands down the loveliest and sweetest girl bunny. She has a calmness and maturity about her and would make an excellent bunny companion pet for someone who can appreciate her gentleness and who will love her until the end of time. Just be near her and her soothing and mild-mannered aura will soon snatch up your heart!

White rabbits are mostly under-appreciated and overlooked at shelters, yet they are usually the most even-tempered and most gentle of all the rabbits. Boogie is no exception.

If you'd like to meet Boogie, please bring her ID number with you to San Francisco Animal Care and Control. Hours of operation are 12-6 pm. Open 12-7 pm on Wednesday. You will need landlord approval if you rent.
