Lola is a very pretty and elegant, spayed, female New Zealand white girl. Lola was surrendered to the shelter by someone who said they became allergic to her or the hay. Poor Lola is now homeless and at risk of euthanasia because she has been at the shelter for a while.

New Zealand white rabbits, like Lola, are a beautiful, pure white with lovely jewel tone eyes. Yet, for some reason, some people discriminate against these amazing bunnies, because they either don't like their size or think somehow that the ruby eyes are "scary" or not attractive. How sad to miss out on a loving and special relationship with an animal because of superficial concerns.

We hope that you have an open mind and love animals, like Lola, for their unique personalities and ability to love you.

If you'd like to meet Lola, please bring her ID number with you to San Francisco Animal Care and Control. Hours of operation are 12-6 pm. Open 12-7 pm on Wednesday. You will need landlord approval if you rent.
