Petaluma Rescue December 2020

December 21, 2020. We were expecting 10 rabbits and instead found 13 packed into cardboard boxes. They were dirty, frightened and hungry; they had been fed a dangerous diet of bird seed.

We estimate it will cost on average $300 per rabbit to get them all the care they need. Many have bite wounds and other injuries. They need to be fixed and vaccinated against RHDV and socialized. They are beautiful bunnies, but you can see the sadness in their eyes.

We really need your help right now to do all we can to help these bunnies heal and thrive. A donation of $500 (but any amount helps!) gives you naming rights for one bunny. There are 8 to be named onsite -- all boys.
