I was adopted by a wonderful couple to be friends with their 11-year-old bunny, Daisy, and another sweet bunny from the shelter - April! I am going to be a happy girl, and Daisy already gives me lots of kisses!

I'm in a foster home for a couple weeks to get strong and healthy and recover from surgery, then I'll be back at the shelter and ready to be adopted!
----------------------------------------------------
I am an older rabbit and I was found running stray in West Oakland. I am one of the sweetest rabbits you will ever meet, and I love to sit in someone's lap and be pet forever. I am calm and relaxed, and I usually do a big flop over onto my side and close my eyes when I want to take little cat naps. I am a sweet girl that is looking for some new friends to take me home! Also, I have gorgeous blue eyes! I would be a great first house rabbit, or would also do well as a friend for your special bunny. I have arthritis which means I need the supplement glucosamine (just like people!) sprinkled on my salad or my pellets every day - I think it's delicious! I need someone special who wants to pamper and older bunny girl.

I am waiting for you at the Oakland Animal Shelter, so no need to email or anything if you want to meet me, just come on down and visit! You can find directions and hours on our website. The adoption fee for a rabbit at Oakland Animal Shelter is $35.

If you are interested in me as a friend for your single rabbit, I would be a great choice! Please bring your rabbit to the shelter any Saturday or Sunday between noon-5pm to have a "bunny dating" bonding session with me!
