UPDATED OCTOBER 2007

Here I am lounging at my new home. Somehow my update got delayed, but you can see now how happy I am. Here what I asked my human to tell you:

"Hello Marcy, Joann and everyone at SaveABunny,

Just wanted to say hello and let you know how well I’m doing. Your matchmaking instincts were perfect and I’m very happy in my new home. I have lots of room to run and play, boxes to dig in and chew on, toys to push around and my most favorite pastime – being pet! I’m teaching my hu-mom about all sorts of yummy fruits and vegetables – I think she’s eating much better now. I just had my first checkup with a very nice doctor. Her name is Martha Needham DVM at Memorial Beach Veterinary Hospital in Healdsburg. She knows a lot about the House Rabbit Society and I told her all about the wonderful people and great work you do at SaveABunny – I think you would like her. She said that I was doing great and gave my hu-mom a few tips about picking me up…which I still don’t really like. Oh, by the way, my new name is Roshi. I hope everyone there is doing well and I really appreciate everything you did for me and all of my other bunny mates!

Roshi (Collin)
And Mariko"

-----------------------------------------
Hello. My name is Collin and I am from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley. I'm a neutered, little lop boy that was surrendered to the shelter by a family that was moving and couldn't take me along with them.

At approximately 5 years old, I am a middle-aged guy. To be honest, I am sad and a bit lonely not having a family of my own anymore.

Marcy from SaveABunny noticed me at the Silicon valley Humane Society when she came to do a staff training. I was sitting in the back of my cage and didn't show much interest in my surroundings. She said I seemed very said and that it looked like I had given up, so she took me home with her for TLC. I also had fur mites, which have since been successfully treated.

I really crave being loved and pampered and am so very eager to find someone to love me again and give me my forever home.

I'm a nice boy. Won't you please adopt me?
