I found my forever home and a bunny girlfriend to snuggle with!

--------------------------------
UPDATE May 15
I am such a loving and sweet bunny. I will be a devoted companion to anyone who truly appreciates the gentle spirit of a rabbit. I have been through a lot in my short love and I am still very trusting and loving. PLEASE adopt me soon so that I can give all the love I have to share!
------------------------------------
Look at how good I look. I am so happy and I feel so much better! It's amazing how fast I responded to medication for my abscess and I know that feeling safe and loved also played a big role. I am going to be neutered soon and then I will be available for adoption. I am no longer a special needs rabbit!

The people at SaveABunny want you to know that I am an incredibly sweet and gentle rabbit. I am very easy to handle and enjoy being with people. I would make a wonderful addition to your family! Please meet me soon!

--------------------------
My name is Ben. I just arrived at SaveABunny from the San Jose City shelter with a very large and infected mass on my nose.

I was named in honor of Ben, a very special dog who lived at SaveABunny for many years. Just like Ben the dog, I am a very patient, gentle and loving boy. And just like him, I was very wounded when I came to SaveABunny. I seem to understand that people want to help me and I am very trusting even though my treatment can be painful.

I was probably attacked by another rabbit, or maybe a wild animal if I was kept outside, and my nose had several puncture wounds and a large area open down to the bone.
I don't want to upset you, but rather to explain why I look like I do and explain what I need to get better.

Each day I will receive antibiotics, pain medicine and have my wounds flushed with sterile solution. Please check in periodically to see how I am doing. Abscesses are a serious matter for rabbits, so please wish me well.
I now feel loved and safe, so I feel relieved to know I will have every opportunity to get the healing and TLC I need.

SaveABunny is very often the only rabbit rescue organization in the San Francisco Bay area that accepts injured or special needs rabbits, like me. Since SaveABunny relies on donations, adoption fees and revenue from ebay and Cafepress stores,I really hope you will support them by making a donation or shopping online though iGive, SaveABunny's ebay and cafepress stores.
For more information, please contact Marcy saveabunny@aol.com
You can make an online donation via Paypal at Donate via Paypal They take a 5% fee, but it is convenient. Or you can mail a check to SaveABunny, P.O. Box 2143, Mill Valley, CA 94942.

Your can donate with the peace of mind that your donation is being used directly to help animals.

Thank you so much for caring about me!
